I want to see Niagara Falls progress, but not at the expense of the people who make this city. Rather, the city should be paying attention to the quality of life of its’ citizens and do everything possible to maintain proper standards of living.
Through strong leadership, we can revitalize the economy, provide safe neighborhoods, fix potholes, replace sidewalks, remove dead and diseased trees and all around improve the city of Niagara Falls as the place to live and grow.
INTER-MUNICIPAL-TRANSIT
Help make Inter-Municipal Transit an issue to City Council so we could increase the quality of life for our residents; whether elderly, disabled, students, working poor, suspended license, environmentalist. By supporting Inter-Municipal Transit, Niagara Falls could be part of the growing public transit system. We all need to get around. Let’s all enjoy all that Niagara has to offer.
SMALL BUSINESS
Local small businesses are important for the people in the community; they should be encouraged to grow. By supporting our local businesses our community can better serve the residents.
FARMERS MARKET
We need to encourage the small thriving local markets to buy & sell locally grown and made produce as we also need to encourage the residents to buy local. This is important for the health of our bodies; the health of our economy; and the future health of our children.
CULTURE
For any city to develop, it is vital to create arts & science institutions at a world class level. It must productively employ the talents we have locally to grow and to run these institutions.
JOB CREATION
The city must ensure that large businesses who want to establish in Niagara hire local people first and that bids for city contracts are considered locally first as well. It is also essential that we retain our youth in Niagara through beneficial incentives and opportunities by providing adequate employment and training at all levels of the job market right here at home.
ENCOURAGING THE VOTE
People are just not voting anymore. Many have lost faith in the system a long time ago and very few are paying attention to who is in control. Many people feel helpless and uninvolved when it comes to politics. I want people to take an interest in politics again to better our nation as Canadians, starting locally.
We need a voice for the people who are just trying to make a living day to day. People whose goal is to work honestly, spend time with their friends and family and live safely and securely in the city that they call their home. I will give you that voice.

BIO
I am a self employed artist for over 15 years mainly in the Niagara Region. I directed non-profit galleries and community art events as well as running my own independent galleries and studios promoting local artists and teaching painting. I had success as a front line political activist in my youth changing two laws before attending Niagara College's Graphic Art & Design program where I received my diploma. I am known to always help those in need, often inviting strangers into my home for a bite to eat, or safe place to stay when there is no where else to turn to. I have received several awards for my community, artistic and business achievements from several organizations, institutions and politicians. Recently I have given those in my community a voice by publishing 'Niagara Community News' that started in late 2009. |
